Welcome to Holmesburg Baptist Church

Holmesburg Baptist Church has been serving the Holmesburg community since 1829, spreading the Good News of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to everyone. Our Mission Statement reads: Holmesburg Baptist Church, a community of diverse people, united by our faith in Jesus Christ, will glorify God always, reaching out to others with the Gospel, and together becoming fully devoted followers of the Lord. We believe in Christian Education as demonstrated through our Sunday School Program each Sunday for the young and old and the sponsoring of the Holmesburg Christian Academy, preschool through 8th grade. Our Pastor, Edward Johnson, and our congregation welcome all who seek the preaching of the Word of God.
